Mission: POW-MIA has many events throughout the year. These are some of our events we have attended to keep the mission moving forward.
Vietnam Veterans of America 2025 Conference - New Orleans
Mission POW-MIA met so many wonderful Vietnam Veterans and their family members during the VVA Conference in New Orleans. Thank you to the hundreds of folks who visited our booth!
Vietnam Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in DC
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet and Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Dzung of Vietnam for extending an invitation to meet with MIA families while in DC for trade talks. We would also like to thank DPAA for hosting the luncheon and facilitating the meeting.

Flag Ceremony - Chesapeake VA
Mission POW-MIA attended the Flag Ceremony at American Legion Post 280 - June 7, 2025. Several in attendance retired old tattered flags during the event.
Memorial Day at ANC
Mission POW MIA was honored to have Karin Steadman (MIA daughter of Capt. James Steadman USAF 26 Nov 71) and Joseph Mortati from our partner organization, Healing Through History Inc and his brother Tom Mortati present the POW-MIA Wreath this morning at Arlington National Cemetery.
Rick Holland - Family Member Update
On Saturday May 3, Board Member Rick Holland attended the DPAA Family Member Update in Bellevue, Washington. During the event Rick was able to pin over a dozen Vietnam Veterans and several widows of Vietnam Veterans with the Vietnam War Commemoration lapel pin and officially provide a long overdue "Welcome Home!"
Cindy Reed sharing challenges with DPAA
Cindy Stonebraker Reed, (President of Mission: POW-MIA) was welcomed by Director Kelly McKeague at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency all-hands day. Cindy was invited to speak about POW-MIA families to the over 600 personnel in attendance in person and on-line around the world. Mission: POW-MIA is very proud of our President and her courage in sharing the challenges in searching for their missing loved ones.

Mission: POW-MIA Annual Membership Meeting will take place November 8 - 11, 2025 in Virginia Beach, Virginia at the oceanfront.
