The motto of this organization is MISSION DRIVEN, FAMILY FOCUSED. I can think of no truer words that define this organization’s impact on me since joining. Since Day 1, I have felt that this group truly cares about our family’s loss and instantly “gets it” for what it is like to have a loved one who is still missing. They deeply understand the effects of this childhood trauma and what it is like to live with this unresolved loss as an adult. Mission: POW-MIA is an active supporter and resource in our ongoing efforts with DPAA to locate and recover any possible remains of our father. They understand the frustrations and disappointments we have faced in the search for our father and have proposed and supported
additional resources of information for us to pursue. Mission: POW-MIA is a valuable organization which educates so many others that there are still loved ones who are missing in conflict. They provide an
important and genuine connection that reminds me that we are not alone in our efforts.

Public awareness of the issue of the missing from the Vietnam War is critical. Mission POW-MIA presents timely and accurate publishing on social media platforms presenting the most current information.

I am thrilled to follow the Mission that you all support. Never forget, always remember, till they ALL come home. I had my POW-MIA bracelet for Capt Steadman since early 1990's. I was in the Air Force for 4 years, 1970-1974, 3 tours in Thailand, Ubon, U-Tapo. Proud supporter of Mission POW-MIA.

My dad and I didn't talk about his WWII experience as a POW in Germany. It wasn't until my return from Vietnam that we spoke. MISSION: POW-MIA has brought me to realize my story is shared by so many that I now know I have an extended family that understands.

Operation: H.E.A.R.T. Is the acronym for Mission: POW-MIA's newest effort to assist POW-MIA families in achieving case progression and one day...resolution as to the fate of their missing loved one.
The acronym stands for the following:
Honorable Exchange of Artifacts for Resolution in Time...which means returning artifacts between former enemies that may help lead to answers as to the fate of loved ones from all sides of the Vietnam War before time runs out.
